The Goal → create a series of graphics showcasing the team's new drivers, fire suits, and race cars.

Having recently been added as a freelance designer for the Arrow McLaren SP IndyCar team for the 2023 season, my first project for the brand was to create a series of graphics showcasing the team’s new look for the year, including driver lineups, car liveries, and fire suits.

After some talk, we settled on a carousel-style design that could be used on Instagram, creating an interactive experience for viewers. As well, each 1x1 slide was cut up to allow posting to other platforms such as Twitter. The designs utilize McLaren Racing's new design style and typography, making the look of Arrow McLaren reflect that of the entire racing brand.

2023 Indy 500 Launch Graphics | Freelance Graphic Designer

The Goal → showcase McLaren’s history and passion for racing through their Indy 500 livery announcement graphics.

For the 2023 Indianapolis 500, I was approached to do the announcement graphics for the team's livery launch, showcasing their themed throwback designs for the iconic race.

We wanted the combine the look of retro IndyCar advertising with a modern twist, similarly to the design style of the cars. With that, I utilized a grid layout with various photos, along with the recognizable style of Arrow McLaren type.
